Michael Paulus is Dean of the Library, Assistant Provost for Educational Technology, and Director and Associate Professor of Information Studies at Seattle Pacific University. His administrative, teaching, and scholarly interests focus on the future of information and communication technologies, especially as they relate to institutions of higher education, libraries, work, and ethics.

Dr. Paulus is author of Artificial Intelligence and the Apocalyptic Imagination: Artificial Agency and Human Hope, which explores historical and theological resources that may help us imagine and create a better world with AI. He is also co-editor of AI, Faith, and the Future, a multidisciplinary exploration of the present and future impacts of AI from the perspective of Christian faith.
